Walnut Bend Lodge is located near Crane, a small town in Southwest Missouri, close in proximity to Springfield, Branson, and Table Rock Lake.
Welcome to Crane
For many years Crane was known as a railroad town with passengers and freight service. The tomato canneries and chicken houses came later, dairy farms were active for a generation or two as the industry shifted. Today Crane, the largest town on Crane Creek, is primarily a farming community, home to several antique shops and the popular annual Broiler Festival every August.
